Underground Railroad Bicycle Route
This bicycle route memorializes the Underground Railroad, a network of clandestine routes by which African freedom seekers attempted to escape for many years before and during the Civil War. |

U.S. Bicycle Route System
Adventure Cycling Association and several other organizations have teamed up with AASHTO (American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials) to develop a national interstate route system - for bikes! |

TOURS & EDUCATION
Our Tours overview, explaining all of the different types of tours we offer and why we offer them. (If you are looking for a type of
tour we don't offer, use The Cyclists' Yellow Pages, where you'll find over 350 worldwide
tour operators and likely your dream tour. |

Education Six-day tours designed to teach self-supported touring for the beginner and
three-day Leadership Training Courses for those who lead trips. |
|
Self Contained Participants carry camping gear, cooking gear, personal gear, clothing, and food in a trailer or panniers. One or two leaders ride along with a small group of up to 14 participants. No vehicles accompany self contained tours. All group members contribute to a cooking rotation. The tour itinerary is suggested and has some built-in flexibility. |
